How It Started
A passion for interactive entertainment led us to create something genuinely different
We’ve been running mystery events since 2017. What began as a simple experiment — gathering friends for a whodunit dinner — evolved into Volturna s.r.o., a company focused on crafting experiences that bring people together through storytelling and roleplay. The response was immediate. People craved something more than typical evening entertainment. They wanted to participate, to think, to become characters in a carefully constructed narrative.
Every mafia game night, detective-themed gathering, and interactive storytelling session we organize builds on years of learning what makes people genuinely engaged. It’s not about fancy production values or complicated rules. It’s about creating moments where mature audiences can step away from their ordinary lives and immerse themselves in something memorable. We’ve hosted over 250 events across Czech Republic cities, from Prague to Brno to smaller towns hungry for this kind of entertainment.

Volturna s.r.o. has organized detective-themed events in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň, and dozens of smaller Czech towns. We’ve run mafia game nights for corporate teams, family gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette celebrations, and groups of friends seeking something genuinely different. Each event teaches us something new about what makes interactive storytelling resonate with mature audiences.
What we’ve learned matters. We know which plot structures keep people engaged for four hours. We understand how to balance difficulty so trivia quiz competitions feel challenging but fair. We’ve discovered how to design roleplay scenarios where introverted players thrive alongside natural performers. Looking Forward
We’re expanding what’s possible in Czech Republic entertainment. Right now, we’re developing new formats for detective nights and interactive storytelling that push creative boundaries. We’re working with restaurants and venues to create permanent mystery game experiences. We’re designing corporate team-building programs that use mafia game mechanics and whodunit scenarios to develop communication and strategic thinking.
